I support couples by faciliating conversations that aim to create a shared understanding of each partner's experience, deepening the potential for intimacy, and "de-coding" the complexities of the communication styles at play.
I appreciate an integrative approach and am specifially trained in Attachment and Gottman therapies.

The Family therapy aim is to create a safe and supportive environment for families to address issues, improve communication, and strengthen bonds. I encourage families to identify patterns of interaction, learn and apply helpful resolution skills, and promote more secure attachment and connection.
I approach family therapy from an attachment lens, meaning I place a lot of focus on the safety of relationships within a family and how these connections influence beahvior and emotional well-being.

Individual counseling services offer a safe and confidential space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences with the support of a caring guide.
Through reflective dialogue, clients can gain insight into their challenges, strengths, and patterns of behavior. I am to support clients in processing their stories, helping them make sense of their past, present, and future.
Additionally, I can offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), a specialized approach to trauma work that can help alleviate distressing symptoms and promote healing.

In today's world, Children and teens face challenges that those of us from prior generations can hardly imagine. Sometimes this leaves them feeling consistently misunderstood and can lead to a felt sense that they are missing support. For this reason, kids and teens often require the most patience and flexibility within the therapy setting to experience safety.
At Paperkite, the goal is to offer a place where children and Teens can process their experiences- whether they be developmental, social, familial, or personal- at their own pace and develop a stronger sense of self and deepen understanding of communicating needs and how to choose safely for themselves.
